Bacon Strip - Gay Anthems

The evening opened with Sylvia and Honey coming out and chatting. Sylvia was looking fetching (as always) in a bright rainbow dress. We learned that the dress was from Target, a part of their Pride line of clothing. In addition, there was a bit of drag history; Sylvia’s shoes were from Dina Martina’s garage sale.

Given it was Pride month, the theme of the night was “Gay Anthems / Gay Performers.” There were a few anthems, but a few obvious misses. Tina Turner had just passed away, and I had hoped for at least one What’s Love Got to Do With It

It was a solid show; it wasn’t as good as some1, but it was nice to get out. It was also DJ’s

  1. Can any show without James Darling really be called a top-tier Bacon Strip?
